Superior Contact and Warranty
Superior offers a comprehensive five-year warranty on their frames for all models starting from the 2020 collection. This warranty is free and applies without registration but is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
The warranty covers only manufacturing defects in the frame and its construction but excludes normal wear and tear, paint/finish, and accessories. Defects resulting from misuse, neglect, improper assembly and maintenance, modifications, or accidents are not covered.
- To maintain the five-year warranty, the bike must be inspected annually by an authorized SUPERIOR dealer according to the maintenance requirements described in the manual. This annual service must be stamped and signed on the warranty card.
- If this annual service is not performed, the warranty period for the frame is reduced to two years. Costs for maintenance and service are the owner’s responsibility.
Claims under this warranty must be made through the dealer where the bike was purchased. The bike must be presented fully and clean with the frame serial number visible. The original warranty card and proof of purchase must also be provided with the claim. The decision to accept the warranty claim ultimately rests with the manufacturer.
If the claim is approved, the damaged frame will be repaired or replaced with the same or the most similar frame available at the time. Costs for reassembling the bike due to differences in the new frame are the owner’s responsibility.
The warranty applies only to the frame; service costs related to the replacement of the frame are entirely the owner’s responsibility. If the frame is repaired or replaced, the customer is not entitled to a new warranty period; the original warranty period remains in effect.
