Who or What is Aventon?

Aventon is an American manufacturer of electric bikes, founded in 2013 by Jianwei Zhang and Augusto Peraza III. The company’s mission is to help people find happiness through movement, under the motto “Ride More. Be Happy.”
Aventon focuses on redefining adventure and inspiring riders to explore both urban and off-road terrains. The company has its roots in producing fixed-gear bikes before transitioning to e-bikes in 2017.

What Makes Aventon Good or Unique?

Aventon bikes are known for their performance and ease of use. They are not aiming to be the best but rather focus on value for money, with some added benefits.
A key feature of their e-bikes is the torque sensor, providing a natural and responsive riding experience by adjusting the motor power to the rider’s effort. This distinguishes Aventon from other e-bike brands that often use cadence sensors.
